Deep Cleansing Facial is an anti-inflammatory treatment specifically designed for oily, acne-prone skin to help unblock pores, reducing acne breakouts, improve skin texure and tone. When pores become clogged with sebum or dirt, bacteria are likely to grow and cause acne. Your facial can be customized using products and methods that factor in age-related changes, acne, scarring, rosacea, dry or oily texture or a dull tone.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Double cleansing – a thorough deep clean to remove any make-up, sunscreen, dirt and debris and help to clear out pores. This means any active skincare ingredients we then apply won’t be sitting on a layer of dirt and dead skin cells and can begin to target your skin concerns.
Steaming – this step softens the skin to help with exfoliation and extraction by causing you to sweat and release impurities in the process. Steaming is the most effective way removing all impurities and blackheads, it also has a relaxing effect.
Exfoliation – exfoliating products are applied to increase cell turnover, to unblock your pores and get rid of the dead skin cells that can dull your complexion.
Extraction – specifically target clogged pores, which are the root cause for many common skin problems, from rough skin and a dull complexion to skin conditions like acne and hyperpigmentation.
High frequency – a gentle and non-invasive high frequency current is applied to the skin which produces antibacterial effect. The high frequency current generates warmth in the skin and stimulates nerve endings. This in turn increases cell oxygenation by stimulating blood flow to rejuvenate, stimulate, sanitise and heal the skin. Performing high-frequency treatment after extraction helps to kill any remaining bacteria and prevent future bacteria after treatment.
LED light therapy – by using different wavelenghts to help reducing inflammation and to stimulate collagen production.
Soothing / nourishing mask – customized mask is applied to the skin to improve hydration and further draw out any excess sebum from pores.
Serum, moisturizer and SPF – customized serum and moisturizer are applied to treat blemishes, dehydration or calm sensitive skin to finishing the facial with an SPF of course.
